This is not uncommon - trigger factors are generally stress and/or diet.

Have you worked with a nutritionist on what foods are triggers? If not, do so. And chart your food chart very carefully. Then when you have a flare, see what you have eaten in the last 24 hours as issues like diarrhea happen quite quickly.

If you have not taken a hydrogen breath test, I encourage you to do so. This tests for bacteria in the small intestine that is often a root cause of these flares. If you are positive for this bacteria, medication can help tremendously.
