Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to us.

It is possible that this change in your period is a sign of early perimenopause. Some women begin to experience the fluctuation in hormone levels in their late 40s.

At age 45, you are a bit young.

Conversely, is there a chance that you could have become pregnant since your last period?

For a true diagnosis, please call and speak with your gynecologist.
Keep us updated once you have spoken with or been seen by your doctor.

Regards,
Maryann
