Did you read about the possible side effects of taking the pill? This info should accompany the medication. Cramping, spotting or withdrawal bleeding are common. What you had was withdrawal bleeding, which is a menstrual bleed that you get 2-7 days after taking ECP where endometrium is shed off reducing any chances of an implantation and preventing pregnancy. ECP can cause irregularity in your cycle, so just be aware of this if your next period is early or late, or there is a change in flow.
