I suggest you continue with applying the gel for the full seven days as directed. If you continue to see the discharge on day 8, reach out to your physician's office. I could not find any information on how long it takes for the discharge to disappear.
Does your physician know that you are taking oral contraceptives? Generally, medications that suppress the immune system.
