For the next day pill, I would get back to your normal schedule and take it at 8pm again to get on track. Birth control pills work best when you take them at the same time each day. Luckily it sounds like you are all caught up now. This may affect chances of pregnancy slightly, but I would mainly imagine it affecting your cycle a bit if at all.
If you notice that your next cycle is a little early or delayed, that may be the cause. If you don't get your next period within a few days of your normal date, take a pregnancy test to be certain. That is the real only way to determine pregnancy.
