Since not every girl has vaginal bleeding as a side effect of EC, it is impossible to say whether the bleeding is from your regular period or a side effect of the drug. However, it does not matter which you are experiencing. Either way, you are not pregnant, and there is nothing else to worry about.
You may also experience side effects such as: cramping, nausea, and tender breasts.
