It is important that you and your partner take precautions to prevent pregnancy. A pregnant woman can pass the Hepatitis B infection to her baby during birth.

If you should become pregnant it's vital to see your healthcare professional as a series of vaccinations is needed to help prevent passing Hepatitis B to the baby and additional precautions are needed during birth.

Without the vaccinations, babies born to women with the Hepatitis B virus infection can develop chronic infection, which can lead to serious health problems.
