Thanks for your question and welcome to EmpowHer! I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Erythematous mucosa is an inflammation of mucosal lining in the gastrointestinal tract. It occurs most commonly in the stomach.

Erythematous mucosa can be caused by toxins, infections, truama and auto-immune disorders. A gastroenterologist can prescribe the proper course of treatment.
