Thank you for this. I came across this website by sheer accident, as is often the case with the net. I also suffer from chronic pain. I have Joint Hypermobility Syndrome which has caused some osteo-arthritis with age and topped off with a Tarlov Cyst (rare but most common in people with JHS). I’m also a Clinical Hypnotherapist in Scotland, who’s been very good at helping others to use techniques for pain management but not so smart at self treatment. Similarly, I’ve learned my triggers for pain and avoid where possible, tho I’m still finding new triggers - there are many it would appear. I’m particularly interested in the technique you described around blood vessel dilation. A question - how do you practise this at a safe level, e.g is it avoided for patients with circulatory problems? This isn’t a tool I use in my clinic but I’m now going to research, and try it out on myself first. Thank you again. It’s always great to discover new techniques. I’ll now sign up to your website.
