I have been told as a lifestyle change to combat my dysautonomia (dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system), I should routinely engage in physical activity. Running and lifting is probably too high risk for me given my symptoms, so my cardiologist recommended walking or swimming. :) As someone freshly diagnosed with this kind of condition, it's great and encouraging to see that others with nervous system ailments are finding success and fulfillment like this.
