Thank you Maryann for your concern. When I was intially discharged I was tolerating Nutrinin 2.0, but from one day to the next I wasn't able to tolerate it anymore. Then my insurance only pays for formula for 3 months so I had to start buying my own at Wal-Mart. I can't seem to tolerate nothing except 1oz every 4 hours which is ridiculous. I've gone to the ER repeatedly and they say there is no infection. To me, if feels as if my body is rejecting the tube. I feel like I've been stabbed and the knife is still in me. I go to the GI tomorrow, again to debate with them that there's got to be another way. I just don't know what to suggest to them in hopes that they'll take the bait and give it a try. I tried going to different hospitals but nobody wants to get in the middle of it because they weren't the hospital that placed it.
