Actually, Seizures are not uncommon with post-concussive syndrome. A CT scan is typically ordered, as it is a better tool for concussion and brain damage following trauma, according to the Neurologists I work with. The EEG is also a good idea to look for other seizure activity or a change in normal brain patterns.
