Lupus can actually effect every system and organ (including skin) in your body, and it may be your recent diagnosis of lupus that can be leading to the other symptoms and conditions you describe (you may have had lupus for awhile, but just recently diagnosed?). Lupus may also be the culprit in your hormone changes, or as you said, it could be perimenopause or menopause.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, and we are happy to talk with you more about treatment options, symptoms, conditions and more!
