What kind of eyedrops did you use? I had the same experience for the first time last night. I was awakened from sleep with a choking feeling and difficulty breathing. I had used ofloxacin eyedrops before going to be about to hours prior. I had also eaten mahi mahi about 3 hours prior. I have never had a reaction to shellfish, but I rarely ever eat mahi. I'm not sure if my symptoms were from the mahi or the ofloxacin eye drops.
