Hi,
Typically, eating a "whole lot" of anything is not considered healthy, and can add more calories than your body requires. If you are consuming more than the daily recommended amount of bread, and still feel hungry, you may try adding more fruits and vegetables (as well as other foods) to your meal before eating bread.
There are a few issues for you to consider:
- How many calories are you consuming every day?
- How many of your daily calories are from bread alone?
- Are you consuming the daily recommended amounts from the other food "categories", including fresh vegetables, fruit, dairy, meat/protein?
If you do not know how many calories your body needs every day to maintain your weight, or do not know how many calories you are currently consuming, you can talk with a Registered Dietitian (R.D.) who can help you come up with an eating plan that fits your lifestyle (and your love of bread in moderation!)
