Seems as if your soul knows exactly what is going on and you are seeking reassurance for your SMART and POWERFUL decision to end your marriage and move forward. Trying to placate others, please others, and keeping the peace just takes a bit of you away every time you ignore your own power. Seems the help you need is from you. Continue counseling, try to figure out how you got in these 'spots' and bit by bit you will find yourself again. You know that marriage to an addict or abuser is never healthy.
