The skin needs to breathe, and anytime you have moisture on the skin for an extended period of time, it can cause irritation (diaper rash). Likewise, there have been reports of some diapers having chemicals that can cause irritation to sensitive skin (I haven't found reports of this related to Goodnites).
Ways of treating diaper rash include taking on a proactive effort of using a corn starch based powder or diaper cream to help absorb moisture and protect the skin from further irritation.
Have you seen a doctor about this condition? It is a real medical condition that the doctor may be able to treat.
