Hi gubba - One of the best things you can do for your recovery is to connect with others who are going through the same experience. Sadly, the medical system focuses mainly on the clinical aspects of cancer, and does not devote as many resources to the process of recovery and resuming one's life. The information that Alison provided will help you, and if you are in an area that has a local chapter of the American Cancer Society you may want to look into their "Look Better, Feel Better" program. http://lookgoodfeelbetter.org/
We have some great information on our site from a woman who volunteers for the program and professionally is an expert in oncology aesthetics. Her name is Isabel Calleros. The easiest way to find her video posts is to go here: https://www.empowher.com/users/isabel-calleros
Let us know if we can help further, and try to take your recovery one day at a time. It helps.
