Hi Dr. Jones,

It's just about impossible to find out if a fish oil is made using the triglyceride form or ethyl ester form - even if you call the company. It's just as hard finding out how much mercury or PCBs are in the products.

Fortunately, IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards) at the Univ. of Guelph tests and publishes results to all consumers for free.

As far as I know, they are the only ones who list the oil type as TG or EE. It's very useful in narrowing down the best products.
