I was taking 120 -150 mg of oxycodone daily and after 3 months, my period stopped. I had ALWAYS been regular and stopped taking the oxycodone after a year and a half. I didn't taper and didn't want to go through horrible withdrawls so I asked my doctor for methadone. I did the 5 day taper method that drug addicts often use even though I was prescribed them for legitimate pain. Anyhow,the first week wasn't so bad but after my GI tract was a total mess for about a month, started having severe panic attacks then finally, after two months since stopping the oxycodone, my period returned. A few of my friends that I know take that drug had similar issues with their period stopping. It happens more often than is reported, I believe.
