Hello Joanne, I was diagnosed with severe dry eyes over 20 years ago. Dr. Doisy did several tests and discovered that I had congenitaly defective tear ducts. He told me that there was a procedure which involved placing plugs in the tear ducts. I agreed to the procedure, and it was completey pain free. Afterwards , he told me to use Tears Naturalle up to six times a day. As my eyes improved, I was able to use the drops only as needed .I have to
have the plugs replaced as needed, usually every 2 to 3 years. I do not have the burning, itching or bluring now. Like you I always wear my sunglasses when I am out in the sunshine. I am so grateful that I got help. Sincerely, Lioness 111.
