Hi, DW,

I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this problem. I know incontinence can be devastating.

Here's a good page from the University of Pittsburg Medical Center on treating incontinence after prostate surgery:

http://www.upmccancercenters.com/cancer/prostate/incontinence.html

This page is a little more involved, from the Prostate Cancer Research Institute:

Do you believe you have sphincter damage?

As I'm sure you know, robotic surgery tends to help men regain bladder control quicker than other options. This page:

http://www.globalroboticsinstitute.com/en/urology-robotic-prostatectomy/incontinence-after-prostate-surgery

suggests that the first progress is usually made in staying dry overnight. Has even this happened yet?

If you scroll down to "Medicines" on this National Institutes of Health page, you'll find a list of drugs commonly used for incontinence. However, since yours was surgically induced, this may not be applicable:

What have your doctors said about what to expect in terms of recovery time? And what medications have you been taking already?
