Yes, I had pelvic floor therapy with pressure on trigger points to relieve pain. There is also something called a vaginal wand which is curved that can be bought online that helped me more with the trigger points than the vaginal dilators. I was told that the vaginal dilators are more for keeping the vagina area open after having a LEEP conization procedure or they are used so the vagina will not close up after radiation treatment for cervical cancer. The pain was caused from this procedure, and as a result of this pain the muscles in the vaginal area became bunched and tense, the trigger point helped relax these muscles. So ladies avoid LEEP procedures and Hysterectomies for these cause sexual pain and in women with nerve endings that have a intense sensitivity in the cervix and vaginal area along with the enjoyment of sex, these procedures can end your sex life and cause you pain with penetration.
