H guys - Yes, if you click on the member name (in orange) it will take you to the member profile, and on the left side you will see the member's photo and under that it says "Send Me A Message." Just click there to access the site's private email system. What's discussed there remains there and does not show up on the site for others to see. You will get notices of new messages in the email address you used to register for the site, and when you click on those you will be taken into private mail system on the site.
Crowsister - I didn't think you had disparaged the site at all and you're correct, most people coming in do mention USA places. I grew up in three countries and tend to automatically view things from a global lens, but realize that's not the norm. People here in the U.S. are surprised when I tell them that some of the best information and support I get for my personal medical condition comes from Canada and Australia. I'm truly grateful for everything that's shared by my fellow world citizens. Best, Pat
