I am so sorry you have been experiencing this pain for 3 years.
You are asking if you could possibly have a fracture in your femur, but the title of your post says you've had "CAT scans and x-rays...", which leads me to believe that this possibility has already been ruled out?
Have your doctors talked with you about where the pain could be originating, as even though you are experiencing it in your hip/thigh, you could have back or pelvic conditions. It could be bone, muscle, ligaments, tendons, nerves... have any of these been ruled out? I assume you have talked with your doctors about the type of pain (stabbing, sharp, dull, achy, come-and-goes, consistent, only at night/day/morning, only after standing/sitting, etc).
What treatment(s) have you tried for your chronic pain (beyond trying to find a diagnosis)? Are you wanting information on pain management, or are you wanting to know if anyone could have an idea of a possible reason/diagnosis for you?
