I had Her Option on 6/3/10. My periods were 9 days + and were heavy, heavy, heavy. I also would have a period anywhere from 2-6 weeks apart. After Her Option, I had the watery discharge for 3 weeks and also had an infection from it. I was on antibiotics, but they didn't work, so got some different ones and they worked. In September, I had my first period since Her Option and it was the worst cramping I've ever had. Still way heavy bleeding, but only lasted 5 days. Now exactly one month later, I'm bleeding again. It's still very heavy and the cramping is terrible! On January 4th I'm having a bladder tuck surgery. During that surgery my doc is going to do a hysteroscopy, a DNC and decide right then and there if she's going to do a heat ablation or a partial hysterectomy. I'm voting for the partial hysterectomy, especially since every woman in my family has had to have one because nothing else worked for them. Seems like everything they have (uterine problems, thyroid disorder) I also have.
