Anon - Shooting pains are not a normal occurrence after this procedure. It would be advisable to call your doctor's office as soon as possible to make them aware of this situation and seek their advice. Will you please do this and let us know what you learn? You may find out that this isn't related to the procedure and that there's no cause for alarm, but you should definitely get this checked out. Take care, Pat
