I just had the procedure June 27, 2013 and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, the medication I had to insert vaginally the night before to open my cervix reminded me of being in labor and the cervical block hurt...aside from that, everything else was a piece of cake. I talked to my doctor, the nurse, and the technician the entire time and actually forgot they were performing the procedure on me. When I got in the car, I did need to take a Vicatin for the cramping and I took another Vicatin that same night. The next day I was feeling almost back to normal but rested the entire day just to be safe.
I had the watery discharge the first 5 days...although it was a bit uncomfortable due to all of that water, it was clear and odorless. Now I have a yellow discharge that is much lighter than the watery discharge but it has an unpleasant odor. Will the yellow discharge and odor go away soon or will I have to endure this for the next 2-3 weeks?
