I am thankful that I did not read these before I had my prcedure as I may have put it off. I have a cruise planned and am leaving one week from today and was hoping that the bleeding would stop right away. My proccedure was on the 25th of March, 6 days ago. the procedure itself was uncomfortable but tolerable. I had 1 valum 30 minutes prior to the prcedure and the shot of toradol just before the procedure. We talked the entire time. I felt fine immediately after. For a few hours after getting home I had some light cramping and was tired. I rested for the day. I had some heavy bleeding for only a few hours. Later in the day there was no bleeding or discharge. By day 3 I had a light watery discharge. I exercise daily and did not exercise the day after the procedure. However, I returned to regular exercise program on the second day. I ran 3 miles and felt great. I have had no futher discomfort. I pray that the heavy bleeding is finished for me. My Dr said that I may have a light discharge for 2 weeks. I am counting on that because i do not want to be bothered with that or a period while on our trip! Please don't be discouraged by those who had a rough time because everyone is different. Remember you usually hear more from those who have difficulty than those who do not. Good Luck!
