I had this procedure in May 2012. The procedure itself was not painful, it was uncomfortable but they have given me so many drugs that I was pretty much in la la land anyway. I came home, went to bed and slept through the night. Recovery consisted of very little cramping and the 3 weeks or so of watery discharge, which was pretty gross, but better than passing the blot clots! Anyway, I didn't have any periods for 3 months and I was so pleased. September I had a very light one that lasted about 3 days, October it was heavier and lasted longer and by November it came back with a vengeance! I've been bleeding from light to heavy, with a gradual increase of clots since November. I'm so disappointed. I should have gone for the hysterectomy.
