I had my procedure done on September 7th, 2012, I had posted earlier about the surgery. For three weeks after surgery, I had a watery discharge I had to wear a ultra thin maxi everyday. Finally, my period came at the beginning of the 4th week. I continued to wear the ultra thin pads, I had a bloody discharge with some clots. Prior to the surgery my periods were horrendous. Bleeding heavily for the first 3 days had to change every hour with a pad and tampoon total of 7 days. So this was not bad at all. It lasted 5 days total. The surgery was not bad at all very bearable for me and the surgery was a success for me! I highly recommend it but keep in mind everybody is different. Good luck to all of you.
