Cristalmm,

Firstly I'm so glad that i'm not the only one feeling this way, however i'm sorry that you have to be going through this.

Let me start of by saying that i went 3 and a half months with no menstral cycle at all. I decided that i would try taking my birth control again...the oral contraceptive. I took it for about 3 days then stoped...a few days later i got my period....February 21st my cycle started again. After having gone and seen 3 different doctors including gynos, OBGYNs, and normal family physicians, not to mention the 2 ultra sounds, 3 blood tests, and numerous HPTs tests that were done as well.

None of the doctors i saw were able to pin point why i was not having a period. They were able to rule out many possibilities such as...cysts, cancer, thyroid problems, pregnancy, and many other harmful things it could have been. In the end im still left wondering why my period was absent for so long.

My cycle was normal lasted for about 5 days not particularly light or heavy, not anymore painful then i can remember lol. Now im just hoping that i will have another regular cycle in 28-31 days. If my cycle in normal then i should ovulate on March 5-10 approximately. In the mean time i am paying close attention to my body, eating healthier, taking my daily vitamins, and monitoring my temperature in the morning. Hopefull my cycle will stay on track this time.

Please keep me updated with your situation! Hopefully they will be able to figure it all out let us know. Your in my prayers

Lauren :)
