Hi Lisa - I so appreciate your sharing with us how you feel about your hospice care. A good friend has just moved her mom to hospice care on the other side of the country, and she's had a lot of questions about what would take place. I'm glad that you, like others, have found this stage of living with cancer is giving you the ability to be more relaxed and at ease. And, isn't it always good when you have the paperwork behind you and don't have to worry about it?

Now, about that Christmas tree! I lived in Michigan for many years, where we had wonderful holidays with lots of snow, and real, live trees. Now I live in Arizona where they string lights on cacti, and people have to buy and import fake snow. Now that doesn't sound like Christmas, does it? I've learned to appreciate what we do have here, including near perfect weather that makes it a lot easier to gather family and friends together. I hope you find beauty in the snow where you live, enjoy celebrating the season without the tree and take comfort in knowing you won't have to take it down and clean up after it this year. :-)
Keep in touch, we enjoy hearing from you.
Pat
