Hi Lisa - As always, it's good to hear from you and catch up. It's certainly understandable that you're feeling a bit overwhelmed - you've got an awful lot on your plate right now. And speaking of plates, it's wonderful that you were able to have such a lovely Thanksgiving. I think it's one of the best holidays of the year, and I'm glad yours was so special.
Pain and fear, of course, are never good, and your honesty about what you've recently been dealing with is appreciated. While there's no way I can experience what you felt during that time, I can tell it was a difficult period that caused you a lot of concern. I can also tell that you've taken things into your own hands with the hospice referral and are continuing to move forward in living with lung cancer. We're all benefiting from the information you're sharing with us, and I'm sure you will provide us with a lot of insight about hospice care. It may be past Thanksgiving, but we are definitely thankful you share so much.
