Thank you for the Share, Diane. Every day, I thank god that my mom (who has Diabetes) still feels every little thing that goes in her foot or even touches it.
It helps to wear closed-off shoes (not in a moist environment) and check their feet every night. I have seen someone's foot get amputated due to gangrene (she was diabetic) and this was not a pleasant feeling, for more reasons than one. It is important to understand the effects that diabetes has on someone, and the more we understand, the more we can prevent.
