Hang in there, girl. You are a warrior and you will get through this event too. I think it depends on the type of Cancer you have in your breast. Mine was like buckshot rather than a tumor. It was the type that was supposed to go to my lymph glands. It didn't. I had both breasts removed because it was recommended. I was told my type of cancer would come back to the breasts if I didn't have all the tissue removed. I have not been unhappy with the decision. I am 66 yrs old and very body and fashion conscious. So, for me to be happy with the results (double mastectomy) I am grateful. I wear the prothesis size of my choice. It is like having breast implants without the surgery.
