We joke about the difficulties of having children, but it's true that I wouldn't change it for anything. When my 4 yr old gives me a big hug and tells me I'm the "best Mom in the whole wide world", it makes every bit of it worth the trouble. I don't mind having to read the same story a million times, and answer about 400 hundred "but why" questions.
I haven't gotten to potty by myself in almost 5 years! I wouldn't know what that was like. Also, like another poster I put my little one in the shower with me, that was the ONLY way I could get one. Now that he's almost 5 I can finally get some time to shower alone, although he does still come in the bathroom every time and ask if he can shower with me(even if he just got out of the bath himself, LOL).
