Plan B does have the side effect of early or late periods, irregular periods and/or breakthrough bleeding. None of these are harmful, but they just make it confusing for a few cycles to know when your period is actually expected.
Your cycle may take a few cycles to regulate itself back to its "normal" self. If you are worried about pregnancy, you can take a home pregnancy test (if it has been at least 14 days since the condom broke).
