Hi,
Since you've had two periods since this one episode of unprotected sex, it indicates that you are not pregnant. It is the absence of a period or bleeding that would be concerning! Regardless of color (pink, red, brown) or if it is lighter of heavier...you have had a period and are not pregnant. I'm glad to hear that you were able to use EC so quickly! Have you and your boyfriend talked about what type of birth control you will use in the future (you know...you two will get "caught up in the moment" again, so best to be prepared!). Condoms are up to 98% effective and hormonal contraception (pill, ring, etc) is up to 99% effective at preventing pregnancy (compared to EC that is in the 70-80% range).

Emergency contraception can alter your periods for a cycle or two...they can be earlier, later, lighter, heavier, longer, shorter...and that is just because EC is a "mega dose" of hormones (nothing harmful) that can cause irregular periods or breakthrough bleeding (bleeding in-between periods; more like spotting).
