Hi, I have had normal cycles since I started menstrating when I was 9yrs old I am now almost 27. I started my last period 3-2-11 and miss April completely, I should have started around the 3rd or 4th since I cycle around 28-30 days. The last week of March I started experiencing dizziness/weekness, tiredness, nausea, sensitive to smells, headaches more than usual and lower back pain but no cramping and I do get some of those symptoms with pms. I called my doctor and made an appointment to be seen when I was two weeks late because I've never gone more than a week even when my cycle has changed. I took a few HPT and they resulted in negative readings so did the test at the doctors office so they sent me to the lab to have a blood test, that too was negative she aslo did a pelvic exam which came back normal. My appointment was April19 a couple days after the appointment I started to notice tenderness in my breasts and my nipples were very sensitive so I thought ok maybe I'm about to start, nothing until 4-25 and then I had very light spotting. The spotting occurred on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and it was very light and almost unnoticeable Saturday mid-morning I "started my period" or so I thought. It wasn't heavy or normal at all it was very clotty and only lasted until Sunday night, Monday morning it was gone then I spotted a little Monday night and Tuesday morning. I have not had any other spotting since then, I called my doctor and made another appointment but the earliest they can get me in is next Thursday.

I forgot to mention that I am not on birth control because my obgyn says my risks out weigh the benefits due to the fact that I have borderline hypertension. When she ordered the blood test she also had the lab check my tyroid levels the pregnancy test was negative and the tyroid levels were normal. I have had no other health issues other than the hypertension, I have not been under any additional stress. I'm pretty sure the chances of me being pregnant are low but I'm just curious as to what else it could be because I have no idea and it's really starting to scare me.
