I think the answer that Alison B gave you is great; I just wanted to add that when I read your reply and you were talking about losing 10 pounds after getting your teeth pulled I had an "aha!" moment where I felt you just hit the nail on the head as to why your period is late this month. I think you are very smart to speak with your doctor and everything if it does not show up soon. But I know in the past, before I had my hysterectomy, if I was ill and lost some weight, my period would typically run a bit late. Please post again to let us know how you are doing.
