Ksymb,
If you stopped bleeding a week postpartum and then started again, it's ok. Sometimes your body isn't finished "cleaning house". Most of the bleeding should actually subside within the first few days after delivery, but some women can bleed for weeks and even up to a month (anything past a month should be mentioned to your doctor). Also, since you mentioned that you weren't breast feeding you will get your first period earlier than a woman who is breastfeeding.

The pain from your c-section is completely normal. Remember that a cesarean section is MAJOR surgery, you were just cut through multiple layers in order to get your baby out so pain is expected. You may also feel your uterus contracting to come back to it's normal, fist size.

As far as the floppy skin, it gets better over time. But I have many friends who swear by the belly bandit. It was designed to decrease belly size while tightening it at the same time. You may want to consider looking into it.

I hope you feel better, TRY to get lots of rest. I know it's hard to do with a newborn in the house, but take any help you can get right now.
