I'm not really sure if what I went through is causing this problem for me. I'm not uncomfortable with being close to my boyfriend in any way. I really think the only thing I'm afraid of is pain. I've been comfortable with anything else I've experienced with him. I think I've just heard so many bad stories about sex hurting so bad the first time that I'm freaking myself out. I want to just accept that it may hurt a little bit. Also that it's not this unbearable pain that I'm going to like die from or something. I just needed to talk to people who could give me some advice. And just reading about other people's experiences and reading your comment has already made me feel so much better.
