Did you call your doctor's office when the gray/light purple tissue came out 3 months ago? Was this associated with your period?

What kind of ovarian cysts were you diagnosed with?

Ovarian cysts can rupture and bleed, if this is what you think happened (the gray/light purple could have been blood). However, you would most likely have experience sharp or intense pain.

I'm not sure why you are wondering if tissue being shed would mean that your ovary is suddenly "OK"? This concerns me---do you know what your diagnosis means? There are different types of cysts; some go away without treatment, and others require surgery. What information did your doctors tell you?

When is your surgery scheduled? What type of surgery are you having?
