I used to work in an ER and was told, when having a period of fluid in my ears and a clogged feeling, that if I took an allergy medication...ie: generic Claritin is called loratidine..it would help.
It took about a week or so but it did clear the fluid out and removed the clogged feeling. Maybe it's worth a try....
