Hi,

I have the same problem; my skin is super-sensitive, and I always have red bumps if I deviate from my "routine" at all.

What works for me to prevent most red bumps is:
- shave only in the shower, after using a loofah and body wash to clean and exfoliate the area with warm water
- use a generous portion of shaving foam made for sensitive skin, and massage into area
- I've tried different razors, and strangely enough, the Daisy disposable brand works best. I have to use a new razor each time, which is not very economical (shave legs first, to get the pressure right).
- Shave in one direction only, with gentle pressure
- Apply Aquafor (similar to Vaseline) immediately after drying (pat, don't rub)
- I can't shave the same area without waiting 2-3 days in between shaves.

There is another thread on EmpowHer about some products you can use to get rid of razor bumps (I haven't tried any of them yet): Safe Way to Prepare for Bathing Suit Season?

Let us know what you find that works for you; this seems to be a popular question!
