I have been having these same symptoms, and as time goes by it seems to get worse. The deep pain is within both hips, and bothers me the ENTIRE day but began only to bother me at night. It has now prevented me from sleeping in my bed, and I have a hard time sitting in one place for a period of time. I'm always fidgeting, and only move to try and alIeviate the pain and discomfort. Sleeping on the floor seems to help with the discomfort to allow me to sleep. I'm a active person; enjoy working out, and of an average build.
Just recently I started taking glucosamine chondroitin, flax seed oil, Coenzyme Q10, and an iron supplement (due to my anemia). I haven't found any of these supplements to change anything yet, and Ibuprofren/Aspirin don't seem to help either.
I have not seen a doctor yet, but have begun doing more research on this. I'm thinking with all of the posts on this that an appointment with my doctor is needed.
Could it be Bursitis, Arthritis???? I need this to go away as I do enjoy being active, and don't want to have to change that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Ughhhhh!
