Hello,
I had a thoracic outlet syndrome. It was a terrifying pain, and hard to breath. After a light massage of the area (but about 7-8 times a day) i started doing yoga and it is completely gone. I was skeptical about yoga but didn't hurt to try. Now I do it every day and i love it. I am not a yoga specialist, but I am doing Hatha yoga for beginners from a DVD and it is good enough. My husband have back pain (and 2 removed disks). He started doing yoga with me and for now we both feel good. (It has been 2 or 3 months since my thoracic outlet syndrome).
