I wrote the comment right before yours....I'm thinking bursitis of the hip. If there's a spot somewhere on your hip that you barely have to touch & there's pain (like on the skin even), everything I'm seeing points to bursitis. Doctor appt. on April 6....maybe she'll have more of an idea.
