This is so interesting! I found out that I had polycystic ovarian syndrome when I first went to the gynecologist at age 16. Since getting on birth control shortly after, I have had no issues related to it and have had a huge decrease in cramping during my periods (and during ovulation) and in severity of bleeding. It's been great for me, but obviously what works for one may not work for another. Very interesting post!
